The tension exploded after Musk blasted Trump’s newly proposed legislative package — a sweeping plan focused on tax cuts and stricter border security — calling it a “disgusting abomination”. The billionaire’s words didn’t sit well with Trump, who fired back in a sharp NBC interview:
“If he does, he’ll have to pay the consequences for that… very serious consequences.”
